All members of IACTA Echo Library can submit the quiz manuscript as they wish.
Fill the following columns:
- Title: Enter the title of one line here (less than 100 characters of text).
- Media: Attach media files here. Maximum 4 files. Preferably videos in mp4 format and figures/tables in jpeg or png format.
You may submit other formats as well. Media should not contain patient/institute/company details.
If unable to remove, submit the original and the team will edit it.
- Annotation: Enter the annotation about each corresponding video.
- Quiz question: Write the question here (less than 300 words). Refer to the video if needed.
- Answers: Write answers in each column a, b, c and d. You may choose any sequence.
- Marking the correct answer: Slide the knob of the correct answer to the right.
The system will record it as the correct option.
You can change it anytime before final submission.
- Answer/reasoning: Write the answer here. First mention the correct option (a, b, c or d).
Give reasons for the correct answer and explain why other options are incorrect.
Add references if needed.
- Media for answers: If you want to show a different video/image as part of the answer
(e.g., marking a structure with an arrow/circle), choose “yes” and upload the media.
This media will replace the original quiz media on the website.
If you do not want to upload new media, choose “no”.
- Reference IACTA Echo Library manuscript: If suitable, the author may refer to any published manuscript
on www.iactaecholibrary.co.in. These can be selected from the dropdown list. This is optional.
- Accept: Read and accept the legal policy and terms and conditions (click the link on screen).
- Submit: Click submit. After successful submission, the screen will show “Submitted successfully”.
- Email response: Authors will receive an email confirmation after submission.
- Once found suitable for publication under “Mid Week Quiz”, the authors will be informed about the publication date.
"As this is a competitive section, authors are expected to maintain secrecy so that participants answer on their own."
- One can see submissions and their status by clicking the “Submitted Quiz” column in their secured login.
- On release of answer, the author name, photograph, email and affiliation will be displayed on screen for one week
until the next quiz is released.
